Turley also said the Grand Opera House has a pit section where the orchestra plays.

The pit has the ability to drop below seating level and rise back up to stage level.

The seniors usually enter the stage on this pit and will be missing that opportunity this year.

"It's a really cool effect, the seniors rise up with music, even though," Turley. "We won't have it this year we are very eager to try something new and make the best of it."

"We usually don't promote the show because we have a good reputation within the studio and sell between family and friends," Rauscher said.

The tickets can be purchased at the Jill Rauscher School of Dance in Webster for $10.

Rauscher expresses the fact that she does not try to do anything as a typical ballet usually does. She does not want to be compared to the Houston Ballet because they are professionals.

Instead, Rauscher gives performances that are fun for the audience and cannot be found anywhere else.

Turley said, "Her recitals are unique, she makes it fun for the audience by combining dancing skils with acting and storytelling."
